To help us ensure that we present you in all your brilliance, please provide us with the following assets.

Please find guidelines for these below:

Promotional Assets Provided

Please use the following assets to promote your presence through social media, emails, and more.

Please find these resources below:

Your Headshot Image

As a speaker or moderator, your photo will appear in multiple places:

  1. GNE Website Speakers Page—as an example, see the GNE 2025 Speakers Page.
  2. Your own Speaker Post; see this Example Speaker Post.
  3. At the event, on a presentation slide on the BIG screen.

In addition to appearing on GNE website, your photo will be projected onto the BIG screen at the event; as a result, we need a high-resolution image that will appear crisp and clear.

We will crop and resize the photo as needed to present it in square dimensions.

Headshot Technical Specifications

  • A high-resolution image
  • Dimensions: 2000px wide minimum
  • File Size: 1Mb file size minimum
  • File Format: JPG or PNG file format.
  • File Name: Please use this format to identify your files: First-Last_year.jpg (Example: Kevin-Vachon_2025.jpg)
  • (Please do not send your image in a PDF file. Please do not include your image in a Word document.)

General Guidelines

  • A recent, very recognizable photo of you.
  • Facing the camera, looking friendly and professional.
  • Showing your shoulders upward.
  • With a neutral background.

What if I don’t have a photo that meets these specifications?

  • The average smartphone will take an adequately high-quality image for this purpose.
  • Stand against a neutral background in good, natural light.
  • When you save or send the image file, ensure you select the largest format offered.

Your BioGraphy

Bio Technical Specifications

  • File Format: Word document or Text file.
  • (Please, no PDFs as they are difficult to copy from.)
  • File Name: Please use this format to identify your files: First-Last_2025_bio.doc

General Guidelines

  • Details: Name, Company, Position
  • Professional History: 3–5 paragraphs thereabouts.
  • Word Count: Although there is no limit, bios are typically around 200 words in length.

Your Presentation

Preparation & Submission

Please submit your PowerPoint presentation and/or supplemental resources by Friday, 10 October, 2025.

Please save your PowerPoint in this format:
Last Name-Title.ppt

GNE Sessions will display slides in widescreen 16:9 format.

Presentation Tips

Make your presentation inclusive and accessible:

  • Keep slide show paragraph/bullet point text size a minimum of 20–28 points.
  • Avoid using all capital letters (“ALL CAPS”) and excessive italics or underlines. Include no more than six lines of text on each slide.
  • Rely on high contrast color schemes, when possible to make it easier for people with low vision and colorblindness to distinguish text and shapes.
  • Limit slide transitions and animation. Avoid flashing or blinking content when possible.

At the Conference

  • All speakers receive a complimentary pass to GNE.
  • GNE attire is business casual.
  • In the presentation room, confidence monitors will be present. Wireless lavalier mics will be provided.
  • Please arrive at the ballroom 15 minutes before your speaking engagement or panel participation to get set up with a lavalier microphone.
